Here is a 1997 CJ-5 that was submitted by Richard from Pearl, Mississippi. Here is what Richard has to say about his recently acquired CJ-5

My nephew gave this jeep to me; it was parked in a barn for 2 years. He had no plans to fix it up and was glad I took it off his hands.

I don't know much about it, but the next day when I got it I had to go offshore to work. I do know it has 33" shotgun mudders, 304 V8 3 speed.

An $8.00 part, 5 gallons of gas, and a bottle of sea foam had her running.

I spent my time at work wisely ordering new parts.

*Bushwacker pocket style fender flares

*Warn xd9000i 9000lb winch

*New windshield

*HEI billet distributor

*Front seats just to name a few

I plan to do a complete restore project on her. I’ll keep you up on my progress, can't wait to get home and get started.
